Office Hours for Nonprofits
Small and mid-sized nonprofits that use Salesforce® often need some expert advice but don’t always need managed services. That’s what Office Hours is for.
We created Office Hours for small and mid-sized nonprofits who have:
An internal Salesforce® admin (or “accidental admin”) with the ability to make basic changes to fields, page layouts, and reports or who has the desire to learn
Executive support for Salesforce® use in the organization, including the time allocated for internal staff to use Trailheads and perform database health-and-wellness activities (de-duplication, discrepancy monitoring, backups)
A general sense that Salesforce® overall is working reasonably well for the organization — or that it should, if you could just figure it out or get past your pain points.
A need for some expert help with troubleshooting, complex reports, automations, data management strategy, change management, process improvement, or just general “how does this work” q&a
Examples of Office Hours tasks:
Assisting with and providing advice and training related to optimizing Salesforce® user experience (page layouts, Lightning page layouts and quick actions), architecture (new objects, new fields), admin-level automations (process builders, flows, and DLRS), and how to make changes within the NPSP ecosystem
Linking and training on 3rd party systems that are Salesforce® admin friendly in order to expand functionality. Examples of these systems may include Outlook, FormAssembly, Dataloader.io, Skyvia, Framework from HCA, MailChimp, Constant Contact, or other similar tools.
Reporting advice, guidance, training, and troubleshooting for reports that can be produced using Salesforce® native tools
Guidance on governance, documentation, and other data management strategies
Assistance with design and execution on business process changes and their accompanying Salesforce® ecosystem technology implementation
